Early Return Home For Strike Duo

I'm sure they won't thank me for taking pleasure from their demise but Senegal's 2-1 loss to Equatorial Guinea tonight means that they can no longer qualify for the next round which should see an early return home for Newcastle strikers Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse.

Whilst it of course is a massive blow for them personally hopefully Newcastle can see the benefits not only due to their early return but maybe a desire to try achieve some domestic glory to help ease the pain of their international heartache.

They still have 1 game remaining on Sunday but theoretically they should be back in Toon straight after that - it would be an added bonus were 1 or both of them be rested for Sunday's meaningless game too although I am sure they are maybe wanting to try get a win to at least restore some national pride.

Bad for them obviously but to have them back will be a massive boost for us - just need Ivory Coast to mess up next!
